So, they're off world and being paired up -> Ronon/Teyla and Rodney/John, obviously. Only Rodney got transformed into - was it some octopus kind of thingy? Either way John and Rodney have sex and what I remember best (up till here it's all rather fuzzy in my memory) is the end: Rodney and John are musing on what Ronon and Teyla were doing (presuming the same thing happened to them), only then the perspective switches to Ronon and Teyla and neither of them had been transformed at all.

1). Here is a link to a mcshep_match DRUM CORPS AU OMFG. That sound you just heard was my seven-years-of-marching-band little soul exploding from sheer glee.

2). This morning we went downtown in hopes of having breakfast at the crepe trailer near the park, but unfortunately they aren't open on Sundays. Truthfully I'm not that excited about crepes, but we've wanted to go there since they were featured on Throwdown! with Bobby Flay and beat his ass. I have not watched the show enough times to form an opinion about Bobby Flay's character, but physically he reminds me very strongly of Donnie Pfaster, which lends a certain air of urgency to the competition that perhaps other viewers do not experience.

3). Two-thirds of us are still rashy, but less so. Whoo?

4). After breakfast and park and errands we came home and moved a bunch of furniture around. Usually that sort of thing is stressful for me, since I hate and fear change, but the Hubster had a grand plan, so we tried it out. Result: it looks like we have a bunch of new furniture! But we don't! It's just the old furniture in different places! Change and I exchanged email addresses and promised to keep in touch.

5). Those tailpipe ornaments that are designed to look like you have giant hairless testicles dangling under your F250: is this solely a Texas phenomenon? Because I have seen them twice recently, and while yes, okay, part of my reaction is ahahah your truck has balls, the much larger part of it is blech. Sir, your self-concept perplexes and frightens me. Would you like Change's email?

6). Yesterday at the movies we saw a preview for the new X-Files movie, and I clutched at rusty76 and got a little teary. I miss that show; I miss those characters. And Don S. Davis died recently, and I miss him too, although not quite in the same way.
